Do you charge for Delivery?
Yes, there are charges for standard delivery. These will be automatically added into your order when you shop via the online store. They are calculated based on the volume of tickets ordered. There is no charge for eCodes, however combined orders of eCodes and Paper tickets will be charged at the prevailing rate.
Can I have my tickets next day?
eCodes will be delivered the same day to registered customers with available credit on their account, or those who have elected to pay by Credit or Debit card. Customers requesting paper tickets can take advantage of next day delivery if ordered by noon, Monday to Friday (Friday tickets delivered Monday a.m.); by choosing 'Next Day Delivery' options in the shopping cart.
How are the vouchers delivered and how long does it take?
Standard delivery is via Royal Mail or Courier depending upon the quantity ordered. We aim to have your tickets with you within 3 working days from the time the order is placed (providing payment has been made). Please allow more time for delivery to Ireland.
Can the vouchers be exchanged or upgraded for alternatives?
For Empire and IC Cinema tickets, customers will not be able to exchange purchased tickets for an alternative, nor upgrade at the cinemas’ Box Offices. Cineworld vouchers may be upgraded from 2D to 3D tickets by paying the difference at the Box Office. Showcase tickets may be upgraded to 3D performances or for screenings at Cinema de Lux sites by paying the difference at the Box Office. Please check with your chosen cinema chain before leaving home.
Are there any other related costs?
Payment by credit card will incur a credit card surcharge which will be added into your order total
Is there a surcharge if I pay by credit card?
Yes there is a 1.5% surcharge on all credit card transactions. American Express cards carry a 3.5% surcharge.
Can I book online with my Cineworld voucher?
Yes, Cineworld vouchers carry a unique code. These codes can be used to book at the Box Office, or online (a 50p Booking Fee per person applies for online bookings. See www.cineworld.co.uk for details).
Can I use my Cineworld eCode at the box office?
Yes, you can use the Cineworld eCode either online or at the box office to book tickets.
How do I redeem my Cineworld eCode?
- Visit the Cineworld website www.cineworld.co.uk and choose your preferred film, date and time of performance in the 'BOOK TICKETS' box on the left hand side.
- Select the total number of tickets in the drop down box (the page will display the total value of the order)
- Click 'Got a Promo Code? Add it here'
- Enter your voucher number and click 'Add code' (Please take care to enter each character of your code correctly, taking special care with difficult characters - "O" and "zero" for example).
- Once you have entered your code(s) click on 'Confirm Tickets'
- You will be promoted to join 'MyCineworld' for cheaper tickets – click on 'Register Now' if you wish to register for the future, or 'No Thanks' to move forward with your booking.
- Enter your personal information and your credit/debit card details, this is required to complete your booking (you still need to enter your card details even if the total value of the booking is £0). A 50p booking fee per person will be charged.
- Click on 'Confirm Payment'.
- Your booking is now complete. You can either collect your ticket with your Credit/Debit card at the cinema, show your booking confirmation on your phone, or print off the confirmation page and show it at the cinema.
My Cineworld eCode is not working/it says it’s invalid when I try to book.
Please ensure you are booking for the correct film type – each code is specific and will only be applicable to that film type i.e. Adult 2D codes are only redeemable for standard 2D performances excluding DBOX, IMAX and 3D.
Where can I use my independent cinema ticket?

Can I return or refund unwanted/unused tickets?
Refunds are not available to you or those you pass the vouchers onto.
I paid by cheque, when can I expect my order?
Please allow 10 days for delivery when paying by cheque. This is due to the requirement for cheques to clear before the order is dispatched.
I paid upfront but I’ve received an invoice. What is this?
If you pay by credit card or BACS you will receive an invoice that states payment was made with the order. This is purely for your reference. If you hold a credit account with us we will send an invoice highlighting our payment terms.
I booked for a specific film/time that I can no longer attend. Can I change this?
Unfortunately once your booking has been made, Cineworld are unable to change this.
Can I have a Credit Account and pay by Invoice?
Yes, to pay by invoice you would need to fill out our credit application form and, subject to approval we can provide you a credit account. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a Credit Application Form.
What are your payment terms to be by Invoice?
Our payments terms are 30 days from the date the invoice was raised.
Can I pay by credit card in Euro's?
No. Unfortunately we cannot accept credit card payments in Euro's.
How can I pay in Euro's ?
You can pay in Euros by either sending us a cheque or you can pay by BACS & CHAPS transfers.
How long are Cinema Vouchers valid for?
We guarantee 9 months validity on all of our vouchers.
Can I return or exchange the vouchers if they expire?
Sadly no. You must use the vouchers before the vouchers expire as we do not provide refunds or exchanges.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
We have a minimum order for all single admission vouchers; our minimum order is 50 vouchers per cinema chain. We do not have a minimum order on Cineworld Unlimited Cards, or Cinema Gift Cards
Can you deliver to multiple addresses?

I want to purchase vouchers but our billing address is based outside the UK, do we still have to pay VAT?
If you are based outside the UK, you will still have to pay VAT if the vouchers will be used in the UK. If the vouchers will be used in ROI only, VAT will not be charged providing we have your VAT number.
